Clew Freedom 1.0 Step-In snowboard binding 2024 (SOLD OUT)

Clew step in snowboard bindings are a German invention and a great alternative to Burton's Step-On bindings. Regardless of the technical specifications of both bindings, you do not need to purchase separate shoes for a Clew binding. You can only buy a base for a Clew binding, so that you can place it on a second board, if you live in this luxury. Finally, a major advantage that we discovered ourselves; Because part of your binding remains on your boots during a “pit stop”, your board cannot be stolen so easily. You can't get down the mountain with just a Clew base!
Ok, the Clew binding is a two-piece binding that you can put on and take off very quickly. The binding is fairly stiff and provides a lot of control. The ankle strap is 3D molded and fits seamlessly over your boots so that you do not get annoying pressure points. The toe strap can be more or less fixed in a fixed position, so that the strap fits properly over the toe of your boots. It is so sturdy that a handy boarder can jump into the binding within a second. The release is a steel cable at the back of the binding. This pulls off the two thick steel clips that attach the highback to the base.
Finally, the Clew binding is very easy to maintain and has few moving parts, so there is little chance of it breaking.
CLEW® works with all common mounting systems, including Channel-, 2x4-, 4x4- and 3D-Disc.
